Description and Purpose

Yin & Restore is a deeply meditative practice that combines the principles of Yin Yoga with restorative postures. Yin Yoga targets the deep connective tissues of the body (ligaments, joints, bones, and fascia) through passive, long-held poses, while restorative yoga uses props to support the body, allowing for deep relaxation and healing. This class focuses on cultivating stillness, releasing tension, and promoting a profound sense of calm.

Difficulty Level

Beginner to Intermediate. This class is suitable for practitioners of all levels. Modifications are offered to ensure comfort and support for every student.

What To Expect

  • Prop Support: Utilize bolsters, blankets, blocks, and straps to fully support the body in restorative postures.
  • Stillness and Mindfulness: Cultivate a quiet mind and deep presence in each pose.
  • Gentle Stretch: Release deep tension and improve flexibility without muscular effort.
  • Guided Relaxation: Conclude with a deeply restful Savasana or guided meditation.
